Couture by Ikigai started at the University of Michigan with a simple idea: clubs deserved better merch. As members of campus organizations, we saw firsthand how clubs were spending way too much on low-quality merch. But what really stood out to us was how much members cherished their gear - the excitement when a package arrived was unmatched, even when the quality didn’t quite live up to the price tag.

We knew it didn’t have to be that way. So, we set out to create a better experience: offering high-quality merch at competitive prices without cutting corners. Our goal has always been to make merch that people are proud to wear, not just for a season but for years to come.
